If you spend time in Fishtown on the regular, you?ve probably noticed a building under the El (at the corner of Thompson and Front) being transformed into what looks like a hip eatery with an awesome outdoor space, right? Well, our friends over on Foobooz have the scoop on what that space will be: It?s called Front Street Cafe, and it sounds like a sort of on-Earth heaven for the health-food-obsessed.
As Foobooz says, they?ll be serving up fresh juices, smoothies, coffee and grab-and-go meals in the morning for all the commuters heading to work (yay!), and ?their brunch and dinner options will be organic, sustainable, and focused on putting fresh, healthier spins on comfort food classics.?
The menu boasts items like mushroom bacon and nacho cashew cheese ? and they?ll even be slinging organic wines and cocktails made with fresh-squeezed juice. Oh, and for those with a sweet tooth, they?ll be serving up a slew of raw vegan desserts. See? What?d I tell you? Healthy-food lover’s heaven. Hop on over to Foobooz to learn more about the new spot and what to expect.
